DOSBox 0.74

DOSBox is a free and useful DOS-emulator which uses the SDL-library that makes DOSBox very easy to port to different platforms. DOSBox can be used to run old MS-DOS software, especially games, which would otherwise not work on modern computers. DOSBox is a command-line program, configured either by a set of command-line arguments or by editing a plain text configuration file. For ease of use, several graphical front-ends have been developed by the user community.

DOSBox emulates CPU:286/386 realmode/protected mode, Directory FileSystem/ XMS/ EMS, Tandy/ Hercules/ CGA/ EGA/ VGA/ VESA graphics, a SoundBlaster/ Gravis Ultra Sound card for excellent sound compatibility with older games.

- Several small DOS fixes.
- Several VGA emulation improvements.
- Add 16C550A FIFO support to the serial port emulation.
- Improve modem emulation to get higher speeds.
- Other changes and corrections.
